A programme aimed at young people in school years 8 –13.
Be Internet Citizens has been designed to teach teenagers about media literacy, critical thinking and digital citizenship, with the aim of encouraging young people to have a positive voice online. With young people now using the internet more than ever to keep on top of their education and equally to stay in touch with friends/ family its vital we make sure we are educating young people around safety. Our programme will address perceptions, how the news/ media can influence young people and provide them with the knowledge to ensure they have a positive voice online.
Young Gloucestershire will be delivering the above to pupils in Year 9 - 11 over the next 5 weeks.
