Year 8 pupils had a fantastic opportunity to explore and engage with the natural environment through a walk along the Thames and Severn Canal between Stroud and Brimscombe.
As an integral part of our geography curriculum, fieldwork was conducted by pupils, who carried out flora and fauna identification in collaboration with Wild Acres Community Project. A representative from the Cotswold Canals Trust also joined us on the walk and give us information about canal heritage.
We are grateful to Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership (GCRP) for kindly sponsoring the trip.
