Safer Internet Day 2024

The Safer Internet Day is held in over 170 countries in the month of February, every year. The main aim to call on people across the world to work together in making the internet a safe and better place for all, but especially young people.

This year's theme is 'All about change online'.

The latest development that has taken the internet world by storm is the evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

We as educators should be aware of the implications of using AI in education. Whilst there are many advantages of using AI in education, there also many disadvantages especially when it comes to safeguarding our pupils.
