Year 9 students will be taking part in a virtual interactive session hosted by GlosGeog (Gloucestershire’s local Geographical Association [GA] branch) on Thursday 23rd Jan 202.
The theme of the session is ‘Why should human geographers care about climate change?’ Within this session, Dr Liam Saddington (University of Cambridge) will be talking about human geographies of climate change and he will discuss ideas around climate migration, climate justice and adaptations. Students will be asked to think about questions such as ‘is climate change racist?’.
